SWITCHING GUIDES · FROM NOTION

Moving from
Notion?

A team of on Notion Plus pays $1,200 a year. On Snappi: $240 a year for all 10 (Starter, 10 people included), one price for your entire team.

Snappi Free: 7 people free, basics only (boards, tasks, messages, calendar), extra people $4 a month each by card. Meetings, calls, forms and automations start on Starter.

SOUND FAMILIAR?

Why teams look
beyond Notion.

AI and meeting notes mean Business.

Since May 2025 Notion AI and AI Meeting Notes come with Business at $20 per member a month, double Plus.

You build the project tool yourself.

Reviewers say Notion is a flexible canvas but that workload, reporting and timelines take setting up and upkeep.

Calls and chat are elsewhere.

Notion’s meeting notes work alongside Meet, Zoom or Teams; the meeting itself happens in another app.

WHAT YOU SAVE

$960 a year,
for 10 people.

That is what 10 people on Notion Plus pay above Snappi Starter (Starter, 10 people included), both on yearly billing. On Notion Business the difference is $2,160 a year.

List prices read 8 October 2026 from Notion’s own pricing page; seat rules applied, add-ons and tax not included. See every tool.

TO BE FAIR

What Notion
does better.

  • Notion is a stronger wiki and documents tool, with nested pages and relational databases.
  • Notion has a large template gallery made by its community.

HOW TO MOVE

Three steps.
Keep Notion running meanwhile.

  1. 1

    Export from Notion

In Notion, open the database menu and export as Markdown & CSV. Unzip the download and use the CSV file.

  2. 2

    Import into a Snappi board

On a Snappi board, open the arrow next to New task and choose Import tasks. Snappi recognises a Notion export and maps the columns for you. Row names, status, priority, dates and a Group or Section property come across.

  3. 3

    Invite your team

People who edit count toward the package; people who only need to look, like clients, join as free viewers or single-board guests and never count.

  • Start on Free with no card for boards, tasks and messages, and run both tools side by side while you decide. Free takes 7 people, and more at $4 a month each. Meetings, calls, forms and automations start on Starter, which also includes 250 AI credits a month.
  • Pay monthly if you would rather not commit to a year. On a paid package, a month when fewer people than the package’s threshold use Snappi and nobody meets, calls or uses AI costs half (the Quiet-Month Promise, up to 3 times in 12 months).
  • On Team with yearly billing and still locked into another tool? We credit one month of overlap on your next invoice, checked by hand, so you are not paying twice while you move.
  • Cancel any time; your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.
  • One price for your entire team, with the people included; viewers, board guests and meeting guests are never billed (meeting guests count toward the meeting’s people limit).
  • Every board exports to CSV or Excel whenever you want your data out.

Questions about moving

What comes across from Notion?

Row names, status, priority, dates and a Group or Section property come across. People, comments, attachments and custom fields are not imported; invite your team and add those as you go.

How big an export can I import?

As big as you need. Snappi imports in batches of 500 tasks, one after another, and makes any groups (lists, sections) that do not exist yet.

Do we have to move everyone at once?

No. Start a free Snappi workspace for one team or one project while the rest stay on Notion. Move the next board when you are ready.

What about meetings and chat?

Video meetings with guest links, recording, screen share and a whiteboard, plus 1:1 voice and video calls, start on Starter, so there is nothing extra to buy for them once you are on a paid package. Direct messages are on every plan, Free included. The AI note taker is paid from AI credits (250 a month from Starter) or notes pages, which Free can prepay for.

What if we need help moving?

Write to the Snappi team through the contact page. Agencies in Sri Lanka can ask about the Founding Agency offer, which includes moving one existing system across with you.
